BERNSTEINZIMMER (Amber Room) A poem by Frank. R. Lehmann, Architect, owner of the third in the series.
Massive walls, yellow, in stone
embrace a square room.
Two doors open to soft light,
washed by sea foam.
9 quadrants north, 5 blocks south,
with a long history.
4 corners endeavor to hold,
and bind wall-density.
Water, waves, azure blue-
a sweep of an arc gives tidings?
anchored, the Bernstein-Room
to the last hour is abiding.
"With the glass-art picture: "Bernsteinzimmer" which was presented for the opening of the architectural office 'Art Deco Architect' in downtown Stuttgart on 1 April 2000, the artist Ulli Kampelmann succeeded in presenting a satisfying contribution to the fundamental understanding of architecture.
This artwork illustrates her understanding of the basic architectural elements: earth, water, air, and light, thereby bringing into being her "Bernstein-bright" radiance into the rudimentary living space."

In the central lobby for the new Corporate Express Headquaters, a variety of artworks from glass, mirror and neon light.
"Ulli's artistic installation consists of four parts. The first part is in the main entrance area, the remaining parts are in the area of the central stairway and the DKF and office furniture exhibitions.
The four segments have a common theme: the Corporate Express logo is made up of four elements and Ulli's art consists of blue glass surfaces enhanced by the disjointed sections of the CE logo. The artistic translation shows the CE Logo in the form of mirrored and transparent glass areas. The additional touch of shining red neon light again represents the unconstrained segments of the Corporate Express logo and lends to the space additional depth."

Klaus Schmöller, Architect, Engineer and Professor of Ecological Architecture. Vice President of an Architects Association, speaking at the opening of Ms. Kampelmann's exhibition at an International Airport.
"In modern architecture more and more glass is used. It's only a small step to see that one can arrange this glass artistically to bring color and atmosphere into this area. The artist Ulli Kampelmann perfects buildings with her art; Light, glass and color form one harmonious, aesthetic unity. Within the contemporary modern art scene she has secured for herself a stable place to enrich the art of building with her ideas."
